WEEKLY GRATITUDE REVIEW: 5 TIPS

Gratitude has been shown to have a direct impact on our happiness, allowing us to feel more content and see challenges as learning experiences rather than barriers. To be thankful doesn't just mean thinking positively. When it comes to being authentic, it doesn't imply pretending to be someone you're not. Every day, not only when things go our way, we must learn how to be grateful. I believe that living life to the fullest entails experiencing all of its highs and lows, and realizing that grace falls on us all.

WHAT IS GRATITUDE?

Dictionary definition: "the trait of being grateful; the willingness to express appreciation for and to reciprocate kindness." True gratitude, on the other hand, goes well beyond expressing thanks. Gratitude allows us to perceive life for what it really is: a miraculous gift. "Receiving every moment as a gift" is the Benedictine monk David Steindl-definition Rast's of appreciation.

Gratitude may be expressed in words like "thank you" or in actions like sending a card, but it can also be felt in the depths of your spirit. Giving thanks for what you have is a great illustration of how appreciation can be felt all year round and in every aspect of your life. Finding the positive in even the most difficult circumstances is the capacity to recognize that even the most difficult trials help us develop and shape who we are.

DISCOVERING THE POWER OF GRATITUDE

Gratitude has the capacity to transform our perspective on the world. A scarcity mentality has been instilled in us from an early age, and we've been taught to compete with others and ourselves. A lack of resources is what we think. In contrast, when we overcome scarcity and feel that the world is full with plenty, we begin to see life as a place to offer, not to receive.

You can't be fearful if you're thankful for what you've got. The law of attraction will bring us even greater plenty if we appreciate what we now have. Even the most mundane aspects of our life may be improved by cultivating an attitude of gratitude. It improves our mood and sense of well-being. We become better partners because of it. Becoming a better boss and colleague might even come from expressing gratitude.
